Tony Thompson Announces Candidacy for Black Hawk County Sheriff
Following 14 years of service to the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s
Office and 19 year of service to the Iowa Army National Guard as a
Military Police Officer, Deputy Tony Thompson is proud to announce
his candidacy for the office of Sheriff for Black Hawk County.
“The timing is appropriate to make this announcement, while politics
are at the forefront of everyone’s mind.” says Thompson. “I intend
to run a strong, clean campaign that emphasizes my experience and my
strengths, and I look forward to meeting with citizens and taxpayers
to listen to their suggestions and share my ideas.”
“This election for Sheriff is really about building on a strong
foundation laid by Sheriff Kubik and continuing to improve an
already effective Sheriff’s Office. I'll bring new ideas, fresh
energy and long-term dedication to financial responsibility and
improved service to Black Hawk County.”
